Hunger Games The Complete Series

Peeta_galeHunger Games started with me on the books. I kept hearing about this series in the movies and how good it was doing. Once I started I was hooked big time and read all three books in quick succession.

The first book is all about getting to know the characters, and what the hunger games is all about. What a reception is was. Giving us out first run in with Katniss Everdeen and protector Peeta. This really created the girl that gives herself to the games to protect her sister.

The second book really give you the bad guy with President Snow. Although you know of him prior this is the book, you get to see the hate begin to really form and we get to know the full extent of the crazy SOB he really is. On a lighter note, who can argue with a giant cornucopia for the Hunger Games battle field. The only really down side to the story this far is the whinny nature of Katniss.the_hunger_games_mockingjay_part_1_movie-wide

Then we have the last book, that was made into two movies. I think it was an awesome idea. First, because it was the most needing of the three books. If any one of them needed NEDEC2loZzOgHE_1_ba second movie it was the third book. Mockjay’s second movie was perfect, and the ending was fantastic. If you have not seem the movies or read the books you should do it, they are all fantastic.

I would rate the series 9 out of 10 stars.
